Samik is a

But to truly know Samik, one must journey back to a curious kid tinkering with computers in his room. If it had an electronic circuit and screws, Samik would take it apart and look under the hood! As a teen, he was always fixing and upgrading computer hardware for his family and friends, and also pushing software beyond its limits, coaxing it to perform tasks it wasn’t; designed for. Today that childlike curiosity has stayed unbridled, ensuring that there’s always a bit of that wide-eyed tinkerer in every conference or boardroom he steps into.

Considering his love for technology, Samik very quickly got onto the artificial intelligence bandwagon. Drawn naturally to its immense possibilities, and not satisfied by being just a “user”, Samik got certification from the elite Caltech University in the field of Machine learning and AI, to make sure that he can peer under the hood of this wonderful and quite misunderstood beast called AI.

In his free time, Samik likes to read and play music on his piano or guitar. He is a single father to a wonderful 13-year old daughter and 7-year old son. He is also dad to the cuddliest and most beautiful 2 year-old German Shepherd/Bloodhound mix she-dog in existence!
